Give your law firm clients a Signed Case Story Audit.
Your clients get the audit as a perk of working with you, at no cost to the firm. Story First maps how a cinematic story system would work on their site and intake path. All you do is say yes to the audit and make one introduction.
What a Signed Case Story Audit is, and what it costs your client.
Nothing.
The audit is free to the firm because we have nothing to compete with you over. We map exactly where cinematic video would turn more of the traffic you're already earning them into signed cases, without touching anything you sell.
-
Who it is for
Law firms getting good traffic but underconverting. Firms where your SEO or paid work is landing prospects, but too many of those prospects never turn into clients.
-
What it maps
Story First reviews the firm's site and intake path, then maps how a cinematic story system would work: where the videos go, what they say, and how they turn a visiting prospect into someone ready to sign.
-
What you do
Say yes to the audit and make a 3-way introduction with the firm. That's it. We handle the audit call, and you can sit in or hand it off.
-
What happens after
If the firm wants to move forward, Story First produces the system and you get an arrangement built around what is worth the most to you. If they pass, nothing is owed.
We only sell one thing, and it isn't what you sell.
No SEO. We don't build websites, we don't run ads, and we stay out of your client's marketing strategy. Video is the entire company. So there is nothing here for us to take from you, and handing us your best account costs you nothing.
- Strategy and positioning
- The website and search
- Paid media and reporting
- The client relationship, start to finish
- Pre-production and location scouting
- Shoot day and on-camera direction
- The edit, the color, the sound
- Delivery files and a deployment guide
When the videos land and your client calls somebody excited about them, that call should come to you. That is the point of the whole arrangement. You get a production company you can put in front of your best accounts without wondering what we might say to them, and your client gets work that makes you look like the one who found it.

What happens when an audit turns into an engagement.
We build the deal around what you want out of it. There is no partner program here with one set of terms and a signup form. Agencies want different things out of a production partner, so we work it out with you, one agency at a time. These are the pieces on the table.
- A referral fee
- You send the work, you get paid for sending it. What that comes to depends on the engagement, so it gets settled with you on the call instead of posted as a number here.
- A video for your agency
- We are already on site with the camera up and your client having a good day. Turning that into a testimonial about your agency, not ours, takes half an hour at the end of shoot day. Some partners would rather have that than a check.
- Your name on the delivery
- Co-brand it, or stand entirely in front of it and leave us out of the credits. We deliver in whatever format fits the relationship you have built with that client.
- None of the above
- Some partners want one thing from us: a production company that will not embarrass them in front of a client. If that is the whole deal, that is the whole deal, and we are happy with it.
None of this gets decided by a web page. It gets decided by you and Chris, on a thirty minute call, before anybody talks to your client.
Four steps, from call to delivery.
Strategy Call
Thirty minutes with Chris. No client on the line. We work out whether Story First fits your roster, how you want us showing up in front of them, and what you want out of the arrangement.
Introduction and Audit
You name a client and make a 3-way introduction. Story First runs the Signed Case Story Audit with that firm. Sit in or hand it off, whichever you prefer.
Production
If the firm wants to move forward, we handle pre-production, shoot day, and post. You hear from us at the milestones you name and you manage nothing in between.
Delivery
A full video library, social cuts, and a guide showing where every file goes. You hand it to your client with your name on it.
Ask the firms, not us.
Your client is the one who has to be happy when this is over, so read what the firms said instead of what we say about ourselves. Dave Ring is a partner at Taylor | Ring. His review, and every other one we have from firms and from agencies, sits on one page.
I truly was blown away. These guys are top notch. They're incredible at what they do, and I understand why people fly them across the country to do their videos. The final product will set your website far and away apart from any other law firm's website. It was the best money we've spent on marketing that I can think of. I can't recommend this company enough.
Where Chris turns up off our own site.
Chris learned this at the nation's largest legal video production company before he started Story First. Legal marketing is a small room, and this is where he shows up in it, on platforms we don't own and can't edit.
What agencies actually ask.
If yours isn't here, ask it on the call.
No, and the company is built so we can't. We don't sell SEO, websites, paid media, or marketing strategy, and we have no plan to start. Video is the whole business, which is why agencies are comfortable putting us in front of their own accounts.
Whatever is worth the most to you. Some partners take a referral fee. Some would rather we film a testimonial for their agency while we are on set with their client. Some want their name on the delivery and nothing else. It is built with you on the call, which is why there is no rate posted on this page.
A free review and plan for a law firm getting good traffic but underconverting. Story First maps exactly how a cinematic story system would work on their site and intake path to turn more of that traffic into signed cases. The audit costs the firm nothing and the agency's only job is a yes and a 3-way introduction.
Only when you ask us to, and only about the work you brought us in for. We don't pitch your client on anything else, and we don't follow up with them for our own marketing after delivery. The relationship is yours.
Yes. We deliver in whatever format you need, framed however fits the relationship you have built with that client. Your brand front and center, our work behind the scenes, or somewhere in between.
Please do. You being there helps the firm relax, and you get to watch the process firsthand, which is useful the next time you recommend us.
Yes. The Content Engine covers quarterly filming for ongoing social and paid ad content, and it pairs with a library build so your client gets a website foundation and a steady pipeline at the same time.
